A Shropshire girl born and bred, my love of baking was inspired by my grandmother, an accomplished professional cookery demonstrator, as well as my own mother who taught me all the basics from a very young age.
My passion and enthusiasm for bread and yeasted cookery grew over the years inspired by the tastes of my travels, voracious reading and lots of trial and error. Finally, after career’s in the emergency services, business and finance and adult social care the stars aligned and the opportunity to indulge my passion and turn my hobby into my job arrived. After extensive research, professional training and work experience also under my belt La Bonne Parisienne was finally born in 2016.
I’m so excited to be introducing the baking techniques, traditions and flavours of other cultures and continents to my customers.
